Dr Han Choi practices in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a strong focus on implant-related treatment, particularly full-mouth implant rehabilitation. He not only manages standard cases but also those involving insufficient bone volume, significant anatomical limitations, complex clinical scenarios, or failed previous implant treatment.
Dr Choi also performs a broad range of implant-related procedures, including bone grafting and soft tissue grafting, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. He also undertakes straightforward implant surgery as well as routine oral surgical procedures such as third molar removal. His goal is to deliver tailored, expert care that addresses each patient’s individual needs, combining advanced surgical techniques with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
Full mouth implant rehabilitation is a life-changing treatment designed for patients who:
When planning for one or several dental implants, you may find that your jawbone volume is insufficient to support them.
Inadequate bone volume can occur for several reasons, including:
Vital structures such as the sinus or nerves being too close to the implant site.
Soft tissue is one of the most overlooked aspects of dental implant treatment. A successful dental implant requires the combination of four key elements:
To achieve long-term success, we also need to optimise the biology so that the implant treatment is fully harmonised with the natural tissues of your mouth.
Unfortunately, implant treatment can sometimes fail. Studies show that the long-term failure rate of dental implants is approximately 5% over a 10-year period.
Over the past 13 years in private practice — and with increasing treatment volume in recent years — I have managed a significant number of failed implant cases. For patients who originally received their treatment overseas, the burden is even greater, as their original provider is often not accessible for follow-up or corrective care.
